Whatever Happened to “Raven”?

Posted in Uncategorized by admin

I worked for well over a year with producer/screenwriter Phil Aslaksen on “Stop It, Said The Raven”. Unfortunately, commitments made it impossible for me to stay on to direct the project when production went ahead in September 2010.

I’m delighted to hear from Phil that everything went well during principal photography and that the movie, under its new title - “Armynel” - is now in its final post-production phase.

Congratulations to Phil Aslaksen and everyone at Windtalker Productions on overcoming all the challenges and getting the movie made. I’m really looking forward to the first screening!

My First (Family) Film

Posted in News by admin

“McGruder and The Loch Ness Bone”, which I wrote and produced with Michael King, is the first film I have directed aimed at the children’s market.

The movie was screened earlier this month at the Fringe By The Sea festival in Scotland, and got an enthusiastic response both from adults and children. The adults loved the wonderful locations and got nicely engrossed in the storyline — and the kids got a lot of laughs from the pie fight, the guy in the gorilla suit and, of course, the flatulence!
