Last summer, Markus Innocenti spent a tough 12 days on locations in Malibu, Santa Monica and North Hollywood as 1st AD and Co-Producer on “Divided We Stand“, starring Jeremy London and Stephen Polk. The project has been re-named “The Divided” and is ready to be screened in the next few weeks. The film deals with a brother and sister relationship torn apart by contemporary events in the Middle East.

Jesse Pomeroy’s “World Full of Nothing” is about to go onto the dubbing stage at Larson in Hollywood for its final theatrical mix. The film examines issues of teenage suicide and isolation, against a background of media and authority figures failing to come to terms with their inadequacy to respond. Markus Innocenti co-produces and appears in a rare acting role as “Mooney”, from the FBI.

“Gam3rs, Geeks and Zombies” , the $3m project Markus Innocenti was attached to direct in 2007, is still seeking financing. Producers Melissa Tracy, Loren Kinsella, Henryk Cymerman and Joseph Kung state that the project remains in active development. Once funding has been secured, and a firm start date set, the producers have indicated that they would again seek to attach Markus - subject to his availability.
